- Locate Google Play on your Android device.
- Search for Syncplicity.
The search should find two apps: “Syncplicity” and “Syncplicity for Good".
- Download the “Syncplicity” app unless your administrator has asked you to specifically download the "Syncplicity for Good" app.
Once installed, tap on the Syncplicity app to start it. You are prompted to log in to your Syncplicity account. Click here for more detail on the first time user experience.
NOTE: If your administrator wants you to use Syncplicity Android app for MobileIron on a MobileIron managed Android device, you must install the Syncplicity app from your MobileIron Secure App Manager instead of the Play Store. If you have an existing Syncplicity app for Android from the Play store, you must delete that app first; otherwise, you would no longer be able to connect to your Syncplicity account and access the files.
If you wish to upgrade the Syncplicity app, go to Google Play and download the app you are using (Syncplicity or Syncplicity for Good). If you are logged into the app, the upgraded app works seamlessly as before. If not logged in, start the app and log in.
If you are using Syncplicity Android app for MobileIron on a MobileIron managed Android device, you need to upgrade by downloading the app from MobileIron’s Secure App Manager.
