Outlook Add-in for Windows 1.4.0 
  • Added localization for French, Italian, German and Spanish.
  • Bug fixes and improvements including:
    • Fixed a bug where the add-in could not upload large attachments.
    • Fixed a bug where in some scenarios the add-in was not loaded with Outlook after GPO installation.
    • Security improvements addressing POODLE security vulnerability.

Outlook Add-in for Windows 1.2.1 Hotfix
  • This hotfix adds support for proxy server authentication.
    • Note: the Outlook Add-in for Office 365 is not affected by this issue.

Outlook Add-in for Windows 1.1.2 Hotfix
  • This critical hotfix supports Syncplicity server changes. Users of older versions of the Outlook Add-in for Windows must update in order to continue to use Corporate Login (SSO).
    • Note: the Outlook Add-in for Office 365 is not affected by this issue.
  • Bug fixes:
    • When using the Feedback form, the Add-in version will now be entered automatically.
    • The add-in now uses gzip compression when sending and receiving metadata, to save network bandwidth and help reliability on slower networks.
    • Improved handling of error conditions.
    • An Exchange server configuration problem could result in the add-in converting even the smallest attachments into Syncplicity links. Now, if the add-in cannot retrieve a maximum attachment size value from the Exchange server, it will act as if Exchange had provided a 20 MB maximum value. Users and admins can still override this value when configuring the add-in.

Outlook Add-in for Windows 1.0.1

  • Desktop client silent installation
  • Desktop client bandwidth enforcement
  • Send Files from your desktop as Shared Links
  • Use Syncplicity for Outlook to send large files, including those above Exchange server limits
  • Seamlessly integrates into existing user workflows by attaching files through the native Outlook attach function or just drag-and-drop
  • Users can also attach files through the Syncplicity ribbon in Outlook’s compose window
  • All attached files sent through Syncplicity for Outlook appear as Shared Links in the recipient’s email. Recipients can access the Shared Links through any email client and are not required to have Syncplicity for Outlook
  • Send Files or Folders from your Syncplicity account as Shared Links
  • Apply Security to your Shared Links using group-based policies
  • Manage files sent using Syncplicity for Outlook from the web
  • Manage Syncplicity for Outlook through group-based policies
    • For Business Edition, Department Edition and Enterprise Edition users, IT administrators can control group-level access using the Syncplicity for Outlook Policy (under Policies > Desktop Clients & Add-ins > Configuration). By default, access is disabled
    • IT administrators can also use the Syncplicity for Outlook File Size Policy to specify a file size limit above which files will always be sent using Syncplicity for Outlook
